A new De Rica branded product will also be presented at the fair

Among the many reasons that from May 3 to 6 will bring Casalasco Società Agricola S.p.A. to Cibus in Parma two certainly deserve special mention.
The first is linked to an important anniversary. In fact, 2022 marks the celebration of 40 years of Pomì. The iconic brand, which has guided Italians' choices and consumption of tomato-based products since 1982, thus reaches a significant milestone, and the Parma event will be the first stop in the celebrations.
The second reason is the debut of a new branded product De Rica: Datterino Passata, made from a controlled supply chain, with only 100% Italian Datterino tomatoes. The research and development that have always characterized Casalasco's activities once again lay the groundwork for conquering new markets and new consumer targets, who are increasingly attentive to originality, quality, and healthiness.
At the Casalasco stand (Hall 5 – Stand E 016) as per tradition, the company's two main souls, Pomì and De Rica, will therefore come to life, and there will also be an area dedicated to show cooking, with chef Tomas Marfella, who will prepare some dishes for the occasion featuring tomato, a key ingredient in our Mediterranean cuisine.
Casalasco arrives at Cibus following the recent approval of its financial statements, characterized by a growing turnover approaching 350 million euros and generating 70% of its revenue from exports, in European and non-European markets, solidifying its position as the backbone of the company's operations and its subsidiaries.
Sales have seen a further increase in the tomato derivatives, sauces, and condiments segment, and the retail distribution channel remains the most important (83% of the total), both with Pomì and De Rica branded products and with third-party production.
