Voltini, an agricultural entrepreneur, has been President of the Casalasco Tomato Consortium since 2002, in addition to being Vice-President of CIO, the Interregional Fruit and Vegetable Consortium. Recently, he also took on the role of president of the Unaproa committee for processing tomatoes.

“I am grateful to the Federation's Assembly for the trust they have placed in me, and I confirm that I will commit myself fully for the good of the territory and agricultural businesses,” commented the new President. “I believe that agriculture in the province of Cremona still has a lot to offer in all sectors: from livestock farming to cereal production, fruit and vegetables, from agritourism to multifunctional agriculture. We must protect businesses, prevent land speculation, support genuine farmers, and increasingly strengthen the relationship with consumers and institutions, which is the winning strategy for Coldiretti's actions in Italy and Lombardy.”

According to Ettore Prandini, President of regional Coldiretti: “Voltini's election represents an important step in completing the Coldiretti team, reaffirming the commitment to do well not only for our sector but for the entire territory. Paolo Voltini's election also confirms the high level achieved by our organization's leadership.”
