Costantino Vaia appointed to UniCredit's Advisory Board Italy

The general manager of the Casalasco Tomato Consortium also serves as President of ADBT Lombardia.

UniCredit's new Advisory Board Italy was established today. The Bank's advisory body will provide the General Manager and Top Management with consulting support for guiding activities in Italy, addressing the country's territorial and sectoral specificities, as well as social issues. The Advisory Board Italy will also contribute to defining the strategic direction of the Italian business.

UniCredit's new Advisory Board Italy is composed of 15 external members, characterized by strong territorial representation, expertise, and leadership within the Italian economic landscape.

Specifically, the new body consists of eight members chosen based on criteria of authority and knowledge of the banking and financial sector or business sectors of interest to UniCredit. The new members are: Daniela Baglieri, President and Board Member of SAC (Catania Airport Company) Spa; Giuseppe Bonomi, CEO of Arexpo; Mario Calderini, Full Professor, School of Management, Politecnico di Milano; Enrico Giovannini, Full Professor of Economic Statistics, University of Tor Vergata, and Spokesperson for ASviS (Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development); Alessandro Laterza, Managing Director, Giuseppe Laterza & Figli Spa; Giampaolo Letta, Vice President and Managing Director, Medusa Film; Antonella Mansi, Entrepreneur and Vice President for Organization of the Confindustria Presidential Council; Cristiano Seganfreddo, Innovator and Creative Entrepreneur.

The seven Presidents of each UniCredit Territorial Council (ADBT) are also members: Vincenzo Ilotte, President of ADBT North West (Entrepreneur and President of the Turin Chamber of Commerce); Costantino Vaia, President of ADBT Lombardia (General Manager of the Casalasco Tomato Consortium); Stefano Micelli, President of ADBT North East (Associate Professor of Economics and Business Management, Ca' Foscari University of Venice); Luigi Gilli, President of ADBT Central North (Sole Director, Efisio srl); Lavinia Biagiotti, President of ADBT Central (President of Biagiotti Group); Pasquale Carrano, President of ADBT South (President and Managing Director, SmartP@per Spa, President of Smartest srl); Carmelo Papa, President of ADBT Sicily (Executive Vice President and General Manager, Industrial and Power Group, STMicroelectronics).

Finally, UniCredit's Advisory Board Italy is chaired by UniCredit General Manager Gianni Franco Papa and is completed by the following internal members of the Bank: Giovanni Ronca and Andrea Casini, Co-Heads Italy, as Vice Presidents; Maurizio Beretta, Head of Institutional Affairs & Sustainability.
