Consorzio Casalasco del Pomodoro's Sustainability Report has been included in the Future Respect Index by ConsumerLab (www.consumerlab.it) with the following justification: «…for having clearly and comprehensively illustrated its sustainable governance, facilitating informed choices by consumers, and for highlighting best practices useful for promoting a culture of Sustainability, with an effective, engaging, and distinctive narrative. Furthermore, it is believed that the document, as drafted, builds trust and encourages responsible lifestyles.».

The decision to promote the Consorzio Casalasco's Report was made by selecting it from 1,500 sustainability reports deemed compliant with the criteria outlined in the justification by a group of experts.
Subsequently, a group of 300 consumers, attentive and sensitive to the Sustainable Development Goals, expressed preferences for those deemed most interesting from a consumer perspective, including them in the 2021 Future Respect Index.

Despite the Covid emergency, Consorzio Casalasco del Pomodoro's commitment to pursuing sustainability goals never ceased in its latest Sustainability Report.
In particular, the national supply chain was further strengthened, with almost all purchases made from suppliers based in Italy, thereby supporting the local economy and reducing the environmental impact of transport through the qualification of 71% of new suppliers based on environmental criteria and 65% based on social criteria.
From a social perspective, the company's average annual number of employees increased significantly, particularly during the tomato processing period, rising from 1,613 to 1,770 units, marking a significant 10% increase in employment, primarily involving female staff.
The economic value generated and distributed among the Consorzio's various stakeholders amounted to 308 million euros, a 10% increase compared to the previous year, leading to the production and distribution of over half a billion packages of finished product on the international market.
