As explained by Costantino Vaia, Managing Director of CCDP, this result represents “a further confirmation of how crucial the continuous investments made by the Consorzio Casalasco del Pomodoro are in research and development, to offer consumers an ever-improving service and qualitatively excellent products”

The study proposed by Il Salvagente took into consideration various evaluation parameters of the 7 products: from the use of preservatives to the amount of salt, from the choice of ingredients used (not just quantity, but also and above all quality) to ease of use.
The last, and very important, parameter obviously concerns taste: the minestrone soups were evaluated after being heated and served to 6 testers, without the product's brand being recognizable, of course.

From this comparison, the only products that were able to meet the testers' expectations were the Conad and Coop minestrone soups in cartons, both produced at the Fontanellato plant of the Consorzio Casalasco del Pomodoro.
