The Casalasco Tomato Consortium's 2025 Member Day was held on December 10th at the new Casalasco Innovation Center in Fontanellato.

The initiative, dedicated to member farms, saw widespread participation, necessitating the division of the event into two distinct sessions, morning and afternoon, to accommodate all members who wished to attend.

The day was entirely dedicated to technical updates and in-depth discussions of crucial topics for the future of the supply chain, including: quality, regenerative agriculture, climate change management, and resource optimization according to sustainability criteria.

The auditorium sessions began with greetings from Casalasco's President, Marco Sartori, the Consortium's Agronomic Director Davide Rocca and Linda Avigni, Head of Innovation at Casalasco. This was followed by presentations from experts from seed companies and specialists in fertilization and irrigation management, who showcased the most cutting-edge technologies available to producers.

President Marco Sartori expressed great satisfaction with the success of the event and the 2025 financial results:

"This has been a year full of new developments and important results for us, starting with the excellent payments made to members in 2025, and we wanted to conclude it with an event dedicated specifically to our farmers. We were keen to show them the new Innovation Center so they could see firsthand what has been achieved and what more we can accomplish together for the future of our supply chain. It was also an opportunity to address important topics, but above all, to meet and engage in dialogue within a unique facility that was greatly appreciated."

The technical update session in the auditorium was followed by a convivial moment in the Innovation Center's tasting room, offering the chance to explore the multi-sensory corridor and visit the entire new corporate hub dedicated to innovation, research, training, and communication.

The Member Day marked the culmination of a pivotal 2025 for the growth of the Casalasco Group, characterized by the FSI fund's entry into the company, the acquisition of the German range of sauces Tomato al Gusto from Unilever, the acquisition of the historic Italian brands Pummarò, Polpabella and Sugo Lampo from Star, the launch of the basil supply chain, and the opening of the Fontanellato Innovation Center, inaugurated last November 13th in the presence of the Minister of Business and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso.
